Dr. Ajit Kumar Gaur B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. (Zoology), B.Ed., Ph.D. has an acclaimed educational career spanning more than 42 years including 32 years as the Principal. An alumnus from BITS – Pilani, Dr. Gaur has served at Birla School, Pilani as the H.O.D. – Biology for a Decade. Later, he served as the Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Ambuja Vidya Niketan, Ambuja Nagar, Gujarat for eight years. Dr. Gaur has also been the Principal of Shree Vallabh Ashram School & the Director of Shree Vallabh Ashram Girls School, Killa Pardi, Valsad, Gujarat for 14 years. He joined Shree Vasishtha Vidhyalaya in the year 2013 as the Principal and is presently the Advisor of the Vasishtha Group of schools since 2023 He has successfully completed several Management Courses at prestigious institutions like IIM Ahmedabad, Harvard University Boston, USA, Ministry of Education, Malaysia & IBB Institute of Research & Economics, Zug Switzerland. To understand the education system of the world in a better way, he has visited various European & Asian countries.

In October 2023 he travelled to Finland & Japan in May 2024 He has been part of various Workshops & Conferences at NUEPA, and NCERT and earned various professional development courses from the British Council, NPSC & IPSC. He has also served as the Member of Executive Committee of IPSC and Convener of IPSC-GK Test. In recognition to his exceptional services in the field of education, Dr. Gaur has been conferred with the NATIONAL AWARD TO TEACHERS 2010 by the then President of India Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil. In the year 2018, he was felicitated with the “Guru Drona” award.
